Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kauã Tróia kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Sandro Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Osmar Velasco got a free kick in the 7th minute. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Olavo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kauã Tróia got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandro Aguiar took the corner. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Kauã Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Joinville S.German-FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Sandro Aguiar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Sandro Aguiar to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Jonathan Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandro Aguiar scored 4-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Tróia in the 39th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro Aguiar went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Joinville S.German-FSCMZ getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Caco Lago hit a great ball. After having played for 52 minutes, Stacey Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stacey Crowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Machado in the 56th minute of play. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Osmar Velasco suffered a concussion in the 60th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Tróia came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Sandro Aguiar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Joinville S.German-FSCMZ reached it. 70 minutes into the match, Sandro Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute of the match Stacey Crowe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 76 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Joinville S.German-FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute of the match Joinville S.German-FSCMZ got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sandro Aguiar ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sandro Aguiar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Aguiar in the 80th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Aguiar in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Sandro Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Aguiar in the 93rd minute of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
