Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vito Leite took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 5th minute, Dobromir Brudnicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute of the match Cöpacabana FC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Talha İstanbul ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 16 played minutes Cöpacabana FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Berger. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Vito Leite in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cöpacabana FC's Dagoberto Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vito Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talha İstanbul in the 29th minute of play. The corner ended in Talha İstanbul almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vito Leite got free with Dante Lacasa in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Talha İstanbul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Leite's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute, Dobromir Brudnicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Talha İstanbul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 64th minute Harald Boman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cöpacabana FC's Stig-Åke Benet was substituted for Vito Leite. In the 66th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match Diguinho Martins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Dobromir Brudnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 79th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dagoberto Loureiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dagoberto Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Talha İstanbul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cöpacabana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Talha İstanbul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dagoberto Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dagoberto Loureiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cöpacabana FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. 96 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Benet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Åke Benet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cöpacabana FC had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
