Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Mämmädbağır Svensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 22nd minute. Arkın Öğüç might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 29th minute Arkın Öğüç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mämmädbağır Svensson was a little too slow when Julian Murillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. A sloppy throw-in by Toby Tielemans in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. After 93 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
