Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Ricardo Zorita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 23rd play minute Andrézinho Amorim came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Zorita. 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Abram Luque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Desportivo Coala's Orlando Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 30th minute of play. Desportivo Coala's attentive Emanuel Nóbrega managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Marco Tamayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Jorge Magrina in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Desportivo Coala's Mazinho Silveira. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Hoffmann in the 62nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Desportivo Coala's Emanuel Nóbrega. Emanuel Nóbrega hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Desportivo Coala's Andrézinho Amorim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Rubio, made in the 68th minute of the game. The throw-in from Joshua Curbelo in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Desportivo Coala's Gilvan Lopes. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute of the game Joshua Curbelo made a throw-in which Abram Luque played forward.
