Orlando Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Orlando Silva came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. But to his dismay, Hector Covarrubias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Desportivo Coala's Orlando Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 26th minute of play. Orlando Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 30 played minutes Desportivo Coala got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Lima. 37 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Desportivo Coala's attentive Mazinho Silveira managed to snatch the ball when Jose Sanz made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Orlando Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mazinho Silveira made a kick off. Desportivo Coala's Orlando Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Desportivo Coala from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes in the game Juan Diego Tenorio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hector Covarrubias. 65 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Jaime Pardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Orlando Silva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Orlando Silva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaime Pardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 73 minute of play. Desportivo Coala's Orlando Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Desportivo Coala from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Desportivo Coala booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Mazinho Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desportivo Coala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desportivo Coala's Orlando Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 86th minute of play. Raul Venegas got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hector Covarrubias. 91 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Orlando Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo Tinoco's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Ivo Tinoco got a free kick in the 95th minute. Paraguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
