The The Cavern Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vladimir Prestes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Yoel Liñan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save The Cavern Club from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Vladimir Prestes made a huge save. The Cavern Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Vladimir Prestes, making the score, 0-4. A collision led to The Cavern Club getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Santiago Emesto hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense.
