Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) SAPSALOMADA FC's Juan Pablo Fuentes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nikos Nikolaou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikos Nikolaou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nikos Nikolaou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAPSALOMADA FC's Nikos Nikolaou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SAPSALOMADA FC's Nikos Nikolaou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the SAPSALOMADA FC defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Nikolaou. The SAPSALOMADA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Nikolaou should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play forced SAPSALOMADA FC's goalkeeper Nikos Nikolaou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nikos Nikolaou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nikos Nikolaou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, SAPSALOMADA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Nikos Nikolaou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikos Nikolaou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Nikolaou. SAPSALOMADA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of SAPSALOMADA FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Juan Pablo Fuentes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Juan Pablo Fuentes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Pablo Fuentes in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Pablo Fuentes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikos Nikolaou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of play. SAPSALOMADA FC's Nikos Nikolaou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save SAPSALOMADA FC from getting a goal against them.
