Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 5thth minute of the game Juan Pablo Fuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikos Nikolaou saved SAPSALOMADA FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikos Nikolaou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Juan Pablo Fuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Juan Pablo Fuentes lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Julio Vera. When Umur Sehhar came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SAPSALOMADA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umur Sehhar couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play forced SAPSALOMADA FC's goalkeeper Nikos Nikolaou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Umur Sehhar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAPSALOMADA FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Umur Sehhar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Juan Pablo Fuentes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. The wind increased when Juan Pablo Fuentes made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Nikos Nikolaou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Juan Pablo Fuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. SAPSALOMADA FC's Nikos Nikolaou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. The throw-in from Luis Andino in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SAPSALOMADA FC's Umur Sehhar. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikos Nikolaou despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The SAPSALOMADA FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
