With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wladyslaw Rojewski saved C.A.Franzoi from getting behind. Joaquin Tavio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. In the 9th minute of the match, Joaquin Tavio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lautaro Navarro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Wladyslaw Rojewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, C.A.Franzoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Aresti to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Honduras booed when C.A.Franzoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wladyslaw Rojewski was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Raúl Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wladyslaw Rojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Moreno came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ovidio Ignatius who took care of the corner kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 60th minute of play forced C.A.Franzoi's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Rojewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A.Franzoi's Desiderio Aballe got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. In the 67th minute Raúl Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Raúl Moreno notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Joaquin Tavio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Franzoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Tavio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. C.A.Franzoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Tavio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.Franzoi had won after a very even match.
