Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Fábio Rocha started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Andrea Pirlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 10th minute of play. Higinio Aguilera was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Higinio Aguilera made a huge save. Higinio Aguilera was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Rocha in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 31 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute of the match, Facundo Cadaval got a very nice opportunity to score, but Higinio Aguilera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera did a great save. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Abelardo Domenec got a free kick in the 45th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 67th minute of play. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Indiana Jones replaced Luís Fábio Rocha. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää was substituted for Demy Ottens. Macos Graciani made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joel Gaona immediately put the ball in play. 76 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera. Higinio Aguilera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Aguilera having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Indiana Jones came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Sandaili hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Brion in the 90th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Sandaili.
