The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Amuruza Lillo in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amarante Gibert in the 11th minute of the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Carballido in the 12th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Balcells in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Junta De Los Rios CF got a freekick which was hit by Amarante Gibert. Edward Mcdonald struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Amuruza Lillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. 22 minutes into the match, Junta De Los Rios CF's Mané Balcells sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amuruza Lillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
