Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Tavio in the 16th minute. Raúl Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Rojewski having to interfere. Honduras's Christian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remo Oehen hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Raúl Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Tavio. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, C.A.Franzoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Tavio to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Raúl Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wladyslaw Rojewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 62nd minute, Raúl Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wladyslaw Rojewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.Franzoi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Wladyslaw Rojewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Ovidio Ignatius fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Franzoi's protests and gave Ovidio Ignatius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Ovidio Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes C.A.Franzoi got a freekick which was hit by Remo Oehen. Wladyslaw Rojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.Franzoi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. In the 87thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Franzoi's Wladyslaw Rojewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Madeo made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joaquin Tavio immediately put the ball in play. 93 minutes into the match, Raúl Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raúl Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Honduras played a much better game than C.A.Franzoi and deserved their victory. The C.A.Franzoi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
