Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Czeslaw Fujarczuk during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrzej Sawicki's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 14 played minutes KS Zryw Rybitwy got a freekick which was hit by Wit Bartocha. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Klimkiewicz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Pedro in the 23rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Miguel Miralles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Arnoldo Pedro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute Andrzej Sawicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrzej Sawicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, KS Zryw Rybitwy's Konstanty Klimkiewicz got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrzej Sawicki made a kick off. The supporters of KS Zryw Rybitwy booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konstanty Klimkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KS Zryw Rybitwy's Edward Niedzwiecki was substituted for Arnoldo Pedro. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Sarmiento in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstanty Klimkiewicz saved KS Zryw Rybitwy from getting behind. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Edward Niedzwiecki sent off a good shot on target. Konstanty Klimkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 76th minute of the match. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adam Olchowy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 90th minute of play forced KS Zryw Rybitwy's goalkeeper Konstanty Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
