After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Juarês Guerra got a free kick in the 34th minute. Wilian Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilian Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 39th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Bitelon FC - SAF got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Vidal. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilian Motta saved Bitelon FC - SAF from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bitelon FC - SAF made a substitution. Paulo José de Moraes replaced Agnaldo Batista. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilian Motta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Alberto Tafalla could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Wilian Motta however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 57th minute of play forced Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Wilian Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Wilian Motta in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 秦枫正's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Dagoberto Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Lautaro Mancebo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilian Motta. The goal made the score 1-4.
