Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Arantes in the 3rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho do Vale in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Miranda came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Arantes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 29th minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play. The Bezerros EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinho do Vale to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to interfere. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Fernando Peixoto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita pulled a muscle in his leg after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 61 minutes, Silvério Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bezerros EC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Silvério Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Almir Freitas's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Almir Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bezerros EC's Almir Freitas got a free kick in the 66th minute. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Bezerros EC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 69 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Luiz Fernando Peixoto managed to make a qualified save. Bezerros EC's players were relieved. In the 76th minute Inácio Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match Bezerros EC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kléber Paiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alex Arantes made a great header on Bezerros EC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Alex Arantes struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bezerros EC. Maurício Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho do Vale in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bezerros EC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kléber Paiva took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Kléber Paiva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kléber Paiva's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Julio Vera - 1-2 was put on the score board in the 87th minute. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Luz Palacio sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Felix Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Fernando Peixoto. The goal made the score 1-3.
