After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Faruk Ankara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd match minute, ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökmen Koral to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Ahmet Turan Kutan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Ankara in the 27th minute of play. Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Faruk Ankara took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faruk Ankara's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Ankara in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Faruk Ankara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadırhan Demiroğlu having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. If Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Bahadırhan Demiroğlu made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bahadırhan Demiroğlu saved ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından in the 71st minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadırhan Demiroğlu having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 94th minute of play forced ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ's goalkeeper Bahadırhan Demiroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Faruk Ankara managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ's supporters rose to their feet, but Faruk Ankara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Ankara came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.
