If Eder Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Real Armal F.C.'s zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Figueres came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Hector Covarrubias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Raúl Gasso came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Real Armal F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Gasso couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eder Mangas came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacobo Nores could save by the left post. After 35 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cordairo Garay. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Figueres. Dionisio Figueres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 39th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionisio Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 39th minute of play. The Real Armal F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. Adán Palacios charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adán Palacios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Armal F.C.'s Adán Palacios got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th play minute Primitivo Escribano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dionisio Figueres. 0-3. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Real Armal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Gasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordairo Garay kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Figueres. Dionisio Figueres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Dionisio Figueres made a huge save. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Gasso in the 85th minute of the match. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adán Palacios hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Osmundo Dulce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Real Armal F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paraguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
