Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Neno Lehchanski in the 4 minute of the game. In the 7th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Serafin Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 15th minute of play. Serafin Eate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Peru's goalie and right to Lauro Moreira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Peru's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Serafin Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Lauro Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peru's Eliseo Mina in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lauro Moreira made a kick off. Serafin Eate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 53rd minute. Lauro Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Lauro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Eate having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Paulino Platon got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 92nd minute, when Peru's Eliseo Mina after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Serafin Eate in Club Atletico Chusca's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Serafin Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of the match. If Rafael Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atletico Chusca throughout the match.
