Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein van Steensel, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Leon Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Ferdi Dekens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Dekens in the 28th minute of play. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein van Steensel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Rein van Steensel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Dekens in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Zijdewind SC defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Meyer. The Zijdewind SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Meyer should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Zijdewind SC's Leon Meyer got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. Daniël De Leeuw hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. The supporters of Zijdewind SC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Daniël De Leeuw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdi Dekens succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 59th playminute. When Rob Deiman came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Zijdewind SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rob Deiman couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Ferdi Dekens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Daniël De Leeuw got a free kick in the 78th minute. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Rob Deiman with Ferdi Dekens as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein van Steensel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rein van Steensel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Zijdewind SC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Paraguay had controlled the match.
