The supporters of A V A Z A booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Ivan Navarro's late challenge caught a A V A Z A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. When A V A Z A's Ali Hamza Okuyan in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Şaban Okdağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes A V A Z A got a freekick which was hit by Zviadi Anghelache. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Czerniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, A V A Z A's Filipp Topnikov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şaban Okdağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Cabal in the 95th minute of play. Honduras played a much better game than A V A Z A and deserved their victory. The A V A Z A players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
