Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sindo Pabon in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AGT Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adán santillana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Adán having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltazar Adán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that AGT Team's Baltazar Adán managed to reach the ball for a save. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lesardo Moreno came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AGT Team getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Julio Yeste hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Baltazar Adán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AGT Team's Polifemo Ricoy got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lesardo Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Baltazar Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. It was a well-played corner which Benito Azofra managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 74th match minute, AGT Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Redondo to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. If Bertran Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AGT Team's goalkeeper Baltazar Adán, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Zinedine Benzema who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, AGT Team's Bertran Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The AGT Team support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
