The referee showed Valentín Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 任岚桦 helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to 绝代双骄—梅罗 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. 程朋战 hit a great ball. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. 袁翔邦 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 袁翔邦 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honduras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
