Mátyás Jónás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mátyás Jónás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. Mátyás Jónás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kip Bout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Venancio Griful ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 42 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Levente Szőnyi. But to his dismay, Levente Szőnyi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mátyás Jónás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Zhuang Sheng Yi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Jónás having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mátyás Jónás came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Mátyás Jónás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zhuang Sheng Yi scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK made a substitution. Áron Szőnyi replaced Levente Szőnyi. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Ákos Bihari was substituted for Kip Bout. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
