Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Santana kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 3rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Joshua Garrido hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Santana took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Carlos Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Carlos Santana made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 35 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ronaldo Giovanelli, 1-4. Ronaldo Giovanelli was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-4. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santana in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th play minute Abram Sarmiento came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ronaldo Giovanelli. 3-4. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galo do Japi were winning 3-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 51st minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belmiro Caca-Rato made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eriberto de Souza immediately put the ball in play. When Carlos Santana came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Santana couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 63rd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Carlos Santana sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Carlos Santana took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Ronaldo Giovanelli came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Secada. But to his dismay, Abram Secada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. 90 minutes into the match, Abram Secada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Giovanelli. Galo do Japi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-5. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Carlos Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
