The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with 鲁钢凌 in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but 鲁钢凌 made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with 鲁钢凌 in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

鲁钢凌 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Trulsson in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, FC Bos Samac's Jesper Ekman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jesper Ekman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Bos Samac protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jesper Ekman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, FC Bos Samac's Isac Palm got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, FC Bos Samac's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but 鲁钢凌 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Walter Lööf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Walter Lööf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 97th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
