Erik Pihlblad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Ros during the 26th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Guerau in the 36th minute of play. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 46th minute, Alvarez Håland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Andres Guerau. But to his dismay, Andres Guerau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yakov Abramov charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 88th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Alguacil to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Pihlblad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Guerau in the 96th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredo Mon took the corner. The Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
