Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Fei Xing came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Engevik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Raymond Engevik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raymond Engevik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erik Grøneng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Cassius Byrne put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Grøneng. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Fei Xing in the 10th minute of play. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Erik Grøneng made a huge save. With an all-out effort, USA's Erik Grøneng threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 16th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Grøneng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Raymond Engevik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. In the 22nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Grøneng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Engevik in the 28th minute of play. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when USA's Cassius Byrne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Fei Xing in the 35th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Kjønstad BF's Erik Grøneng got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Erik Grøneng made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Fei Xing in the 38th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Kjønstad BF got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmílson Prata ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Edmílson Prata got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 42 minutes, Wang Fei Xing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kjønstad BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wang Fei Xing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes Kjønstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Kleiv. Gustav Kleiv hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, USA's Raphael Moore got a free kick in the 50th minute. Wang Fei Xing's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 54 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Jenson Smith came free, but Erik Grøneng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Raphael Moore threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kjønstad BF's Edmílson Prata quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 72nd minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raymond Engevik's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymond Engevik helped the player get up and apologised. Raymond Engevik kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Kjønstad BF's Damian Dino was substituted for Wang Fei Xing. After 79 played minutes Kjønstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Engevik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 80th minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Raphael Moore in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kjønstad BF's Edmílson Prata. 86 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Erik Grøneng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Engevik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when USA's Sam Campbell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
