Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Emil Scobioalã started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Doroftei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gheorghe Streche who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as UFC Puturoasa's Emil Scobioalã slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sandu Musteatã managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Puturoasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Musteatã was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Vladimir Griceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UFC Puturoasa's Carlos Alberto Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Emil Scobioalã. The audience was convinced that Emil Scobioalã's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Scobioalã in the 22nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Puturoasa's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Salgado came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes, Emil Scobioalã made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 37 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sandu Musteatã tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Scobioalã kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tadeusz Pracki struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Puturoasa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Scobioalã in the 55th minute of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Eugen Doroftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Scobioalã scored 5-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UFC Puturoasa made a substitution. Alphonso Davies replaced Vladimir Griceanu. UFC Puturoasa's Teodor Cociu was substituted for Lars Stålman. Emil Scobioalã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, Emil Scobioalã cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Puturoasa the free kick. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Musteatã in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UFC Puturoasa.
