Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Arias during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as David Batuhin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Ramiro Oliverio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Gyepes to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, David Batuhin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when David Batuhin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Andino. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Batuhin was the one to do the kick off. When Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Horea Băieșu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nail Horan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 57th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Fulgencio Villalcazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Villalcazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sid Wilson was slow to take the kick. During this time Cuatrodeocho's players had a chance to rest. Cuatrodeocho's Sid Wilson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cuatrodeocho's José Planes was substituted for Sid Wilson. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Cuatrodeocho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute David Batuhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Batuhin in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuatrodeocho's attentive Belarmino Campos managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Batuhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Batuhin in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. When Iván Villafane came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cuatrodeocho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iván Villafane couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Gyepes to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Villalcazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Oliverio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
