Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Pereira in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Landulfos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Landulfos FC's Flávio de Azevedo did a great save. Flávio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flávio de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mexico booed when Landulfos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Pedrão Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Pereira in the 17th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flávio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Landulfos FC's Tiaguinho Alagoano got a free kick in the 26th minute. Flávio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Napoleone in the 36th minute of play. Flávio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of the match. Pedrão Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Napoleone in the 46th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Landulfos FC's Naldo da Silveira was substituted for Tiaguinho Alagoano. Landulfos FC's Danilo de Godoi was substituted for Dedê Fonseca. After a defensive mix-up in Landulfos FC's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flávio de Azevedo came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Naldo da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flávio de Azevedo. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Pereira came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flávio de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flávio de Azevedo saved Landulfos FC from getting behind. The supporters of Mexico booed when Landulfos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flávio de Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. 74 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's goalkeeper Flávio de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Gaona. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Flávio de Azevedo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, Landulfos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Vidal to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Andrea Napoleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landulfos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Napoleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Pereira in the 97th minute of the match. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
