Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pong Kula kicked off to start the match. Murilo Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 14th minute of play. Atlético Letal's Murilo Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes Atlético Letal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Antonio Arias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético Letal's Murilo Paredes did a great save. A collision led to Atlético Letal getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Dráusio de Queirós hit a great ball. Pong Kula had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Atlético Letal's Tomás Goren was substituted for Pong Kula. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Murilo Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Murilo Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match Atlético Letal got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. André Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Alfredinho Sena heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Murilo Paredes made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Tomás Goren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Goren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 79th minute, Tomás Goren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Atlético Letal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giancarlo Furlan to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bieito Cubas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Bieito Cubas notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Atlético Letal were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
