Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to IFK Ribba getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Andreas Biörkman hit a great ball. In the 4th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Alebom in the 6th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Hagström in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Michael Alebom took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. After 15 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. 17 minutes into the match, John Hagström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Hagström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Barış Çile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Andreas Biörkman hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by IFK Ribba's Pontus Engström. A collision led to IFK Ribba getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pontus Engström hit a great ball.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, John Hagström put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Ribba's John Hagström. But to his dismay, John Hagström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Hagström in the 61st minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Hagström went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Andreas Biörkman kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Hagström, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, IFK Ribba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Åström to maneuver through the defense. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a IFK Ribba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Biörkman hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Mustafa Barış Çile threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Axel Tasis this time. The supporters of IFK Ribba booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 92nd minute of play forced IFK Ribba's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Çile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Biörkman kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the IFK Ribba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
