Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lauro Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Moreira in the 11th minute of play. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lauro Moreira went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Lauro Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Lauro Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chile! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Club Atletico Chusca. Lauro Moreira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thiago Pliego. 0-4. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serafin Eate made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neno Lehchanski to maneuver through the defense. Club Atletico Chusca's Leonardo Gumaro was substituted for Baldomero Montae. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Neno Lehchanski got a free kick in the 49th minute. The Chile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico Chusca were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Eate having to make a save. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauro Moreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Serafin Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Orlando Casaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lauro Moreira. Club Atletico Chusca were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Richie Craig took the corner. The corner led Club Atletico Chusca's Richie Craig to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate. Serafin Eate was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serafin Eate came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Chusca defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Eate. The Club Atletico Chusca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Eate should have stopped the shot. Lauro Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauro Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Eate having to make a save. Serafin Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute of play. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Club Atletico Chusca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Atletico Chusca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
