Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lin Xuan Hai in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s C.J. 吕布 made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lin Xuan Hai came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lin Xuan Hai couldn't finish the play. C.J. 吕布 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save.
