After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Maurício Meireles got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Ricardo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MEXACOMX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball.
