Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Lauro Moreira made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Eate having to make a save. The supporters of Club Atletico Chusca booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Moreira in the 35th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute of play. Serafin Eate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 43rd minute. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Lauro Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafin Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Chile's Pedro Indiano got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Lauro Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauro Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Moreira in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Eate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lauro Moreira took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Club Atletico Chusca's Alberto Confesor was substituted for Herman Arvidsson. 1-2 became the score in the 80th minute when Mariano Lacasa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 84th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafin Eate was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Serafin Eate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
