Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MEXACOMX the free kick. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Guerra. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio-César Romo-Leroux was slow to take the kick. During this time MEXACOMX's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Ricardo Guerra at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Venezuela. 1-0. After 15 minutes of play, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after MEXACOMX's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Januário Rangel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Salvador Gisbert was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Julio-César Romo-Leroux sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jonathan Ferrant threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Julio-César Romo-Leroux this time. Ricardo Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos threw the ball into play from the sideline. MEXACOMX's Wu Liang Mo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ricardo Guerra took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 45th minute. MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ricardo Guerra made the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 53rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Guerra's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Ricardo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Januário Rangel to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Patricio Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 64th minute Ricardo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 71 minutes into the match, Ricardo Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. MEXACOMX's Wu Liang Mo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ricardo Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the MEXACOMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Guerra couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute Wu Liang Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MEXACOMX were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julio-César Romo-Leroux took the corner. MEXACOMX's Julio-César Romo-Leroux was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Januário Rangel made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Guerra scored 7-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 86th minute of play. MEXACOMX's Fryderyk Gierlach was substituted for Cláudio Leite. In the 88th minute of the match MEXACOMX got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julio-César Romo-Leroux ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Wu Liang Mo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 92nd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. MEXACOMX walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
