After some careless play in the Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matías Cavalcante. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matías Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita scored 0-3 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matías Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maicon Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matías Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matías Cavalcante. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Cavalcante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matías Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Matías Cavalcante despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Cavalcante saved Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF from getting behind. Matías Cavalcante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Matías Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Matías Cavalcante got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantin-Maximilian De Jésus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 55 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matías Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nelson Guimarães's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Constantin-Maximilian Beckenbauer. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Osvaldo Berger fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's protests and gave Osvaldo Berger a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matías Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Matías Cavalcante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matías Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Cavalcante having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matías Cavalcante. That made the score 0-10 in the 84 minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Cavalcante having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Matías Cavalcante in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th match minute, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin-Maximilian De Jésus to maneuver through the defense.
