He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. In the 12th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrice Lepetit showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Fierce's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Andrea Bocelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Fierce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Simão to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Bocelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of play forced Fierce's goalkeeper Fabrice Lepetit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Guillaume Lacourt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Fierce booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 41st minute. Alou Loret kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Fabrice Lepetit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 65th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. From close distance Sebastian Villa pressed in the 0-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 72 minutes into the game. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clovis Lenoble in the 78th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Simão in the 85th minute of play. Fierce made a substitution.
