Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, вιℓтємα's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Jonas Belkå reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, one of Mexico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexico. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egil Belkå made a kick off. With a little luck, вιℓтємα's Jonas Belkå got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Belkå in the 55th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Johnsson in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Hedström came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jonas Belkå made a huge save. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match.
