Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Adrogue FC's Laureano Vergaray started the match with a crisp pass. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 8th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 12th minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Adrogue FC's Laureano Vergaray. But to his dismay, Laureano Vergaray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Laureano Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play forced Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Vergaray in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Armani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Gallardo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Ecuador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Adrogue FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Armani. Adrogue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Vergaray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Adrogue FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Laureano Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Adrogue FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Adrogue FC's Franco Armani managed to reach the ball for a save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute.
