The referee ignored FC Bosses Bodega's protests and gave Patrick Nykvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Salvador booed when FC Bosses Bodega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Nykvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kjell Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Moises Fernandino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bosses Bodega's Kjell Dahlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. FC Bosses Bodega made a substitution. Edgar Anundsson replaced Sven-Åke Malmberg. When Jorge Magrina fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Jorge Magrina a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jorge Magrina got a free kick in the 77th minute. Kjell Dahlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abram Luque went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC Bosses Bodega getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Olov Kvist hit a great ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bosses Bodega's goalkeeper Kjell Dahlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Anundsson took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. El Salvador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
