An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Jönsson in the 11th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Kalfhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olle Jönsson went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Jönsson in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Olle Jönsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brutal DeLuxe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Kalfhage made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. During the 96th minute of the match Olle Jönsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Olle Jönsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 96th minute, Olle Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Brutal DeLuxe players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
