Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Inter de zarate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Sixto Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sixto Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sixto Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Inter de zarate FC's Richard Pettersson got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Franco. Inter de zarate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 26th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Fausto Caton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Ortzi in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play forced Inter de zarate FC's goalkeeper Sixto Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Godfredo Ortzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de zarate FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Camilo Gisbert made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Agustín Saelices. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Franco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Tomás Claude hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sixto Franco made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play Inter de zarate FC's Tomás Claude was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Inter de zarate FC's Tomás Claude got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sixto Franco. Felix Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 71st minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 75th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Inter de zarate FC. Fausto Caton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Vera. 2-3. If Isidro Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 83 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Franco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Franco having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. In the 96th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than Inter de zarate FC and deserved their victory. The Inter de zarate FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
