Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Kees Koole sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Patricio Costa pulled a muscle in his back after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Sigurd Abbas fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Revenge's protests and gave Sigurd Abbas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Sigurd Abbas got a free kick in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilco Willemse. Revenge's Aleksandr Vasyutin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Henk-Jan Linders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Kees Koole tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Koole, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Revenge the free kick. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Kees Koole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Revenge's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Ocampo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Revenge's Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Palsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Berend Hermensen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Aleksandr Vasyutin went to the wrong direction when Tomas Illescas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Berend Hermensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berend Hermensen in the 97th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk-Jan Linders didn't get a good kick on the ball.
