Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karlsborg's goalie prevented a goal. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Joel Classon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 20 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Joel Classon sent off a good shot on target. Hans Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Aron Vikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Aron Vikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hans Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Karlsborg's Hans Norberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 45th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Vikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Joel Classon made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 59th minute. The Costa Rica fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aron Vikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 70th minute of play. Joel Classon hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Joel Classon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hans Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Karlsborg's Aron Vikström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Karlsborg from getting a goal against them. Aron Vikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Hans Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlsborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Norberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Classon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anton Stenman came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Karlsborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Stenman couldn't finish the play. If Joel Classon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karlsborg fully deserved thier win.
