Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgi Mamardashvili having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Akira アキラ's Laércio Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Laércio Torres scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giorgi Mamardashvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Torres went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Giorgi Mamardashvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Zhi Guang, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tomas Illescas came free in the 30th minute and tried to tip the ball over Giorgi Mamardashvili, but to the joy of Akira アキラ's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Giorgi Mamardashvili came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laércio Torres in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Torres. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Laércio Torres sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Akira アキラ's Giorgi Mamardashvili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Akira アキラ from getting a goal against them. After 54 minutes of play, Akira アキラ's Laércio Torres made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giorgi Mamardashvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Akira アキラ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Giancola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romário MacAlister might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romário MacAlister ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Akira アキラ had won after a very even match.
