After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Carlos Caldeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Real Calle's Benny Benno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benny Benno in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Wennersten in the 14th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Sjöberg in the 17th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Real Calle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Russel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. A collision led to Real Calle getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leon Russel hit a great ball. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Real Calle's Tim Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute of play. Leon Russel hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Tim Nyberg made a huge save. Carlos Caldeira scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leon Russel made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carlos Manuel Facuse. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Lingren in the 85th minute of play. Real Calle's Tim Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolfo Olmos in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Real Calle were the better team. Real Calle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
