An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Cunha in the 20th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerd Pollmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Sandrinho Cunha put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. After having played for 28 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Seco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 33rd minute of play forced Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Gerd Pollmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulão Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Militros F.C.'s zone, Jaime Cazalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerd Pollmann came out of the goal and Jaime Cazalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Militros F.C.'s Paulão Freire dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 42 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. 43 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Mercado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Militros F.C. made a substitution. Wanderson Valencia replaced Paulão Freire. The wind increased when Wanderson Valencia made the kick off in the second half. Wanderson Valencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wanderson Valencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Wanderson Valencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Militros F.C.'s Wanderson Valencia in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandrinho Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Cunha in the 90th minute of play. Militros F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sandrinho Cunha in the 91st minute. The corner led Militros F.C.'s Sandrinho Cunha to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Wanderson Valencia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Militros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson Valencia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wanderson Valencia struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Militros F.C.. 96 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerd Pollmann, 6-2. Uruguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Militros F.C. had won, even though Uruguay had held more of the ball.
