Cohaerentia F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lázaro Amaro in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lázaro Amaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mala Vakte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Mala Vakte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Cohaerentia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Amaro. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mala Vakte. Cohaerentia F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mala Vakte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Martines came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Cohaerentia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Blomqvist. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience was convinced that Lázaro Amaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Mala Vakte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mala Vakte in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mala Vakte. Mala Vakte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Cohaerentia F.C.'s Egil Flinck was substituted for Bengt-Åke Ekberg. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mala Vakte made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Amaro in the 78th minute of play. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices suffered a concussion in the 78th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 78 minutes into the game, Jonathan Rolandsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cohaerentia F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 80 played minutes Cohaerentia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Rolandsson. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Cohaerentia F.C.'s Mala Vakte got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Blomqvist in the 90th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
